#NotOneMoreDeathFromRabies Campaign

#NotOneMoreDeathFromRabies , is PPBCC’s newest campaign where we aim to educate the public about the importance of vaccination and neutering, as well as providing a series of information on rabies news. That should be the rallying cry of every Filipino who values life, animal welfare, and the country's economy. Once rabies symptoms appear, there is no cure and the mortality rate is almost 100%. That's why it's crucial to prevent the disease in the first place by vaccinating all animals against rabies and controlling the stray animal population. However, the problem in the Philippines is that stray animals have become a huge problem, with over 1 million roaming the streets of Metro Manila alone. These animals are either unvaccinated or have not been vaccinated regularly, making them susceptible to contracting rabies. To make matters worse, many Filipinos still believe that dogs with rabies can be cured through DIY remedies and herbal medicines. This misconception has led to the death of many innocent people, including children.

By working together, we can save the lives of countless people and animals. It's time to put an end to this deadly disease and work together towards a Rabies-Free Philippines for all.

As the world continues to grapple with the threat of COVID-19, it is important to remember that other infectious diseases are still a major threat to public health. Rabies is one such disease that continues to kill thousands of people each year and poses a significant risk to both humans and animals worldwide.

We’re hoping that our “Not One More Death From Rabies” Campaign will help us see a future where no one dies from this preventable disease. By working together to raise awareness and funds, we can ensure that more people have access to life-saving vaccines and that future generations will be safe from this deadly virus.

#Kaponatbakunado program

To address this issue, our first program for this campaign that’s called #KaponAtBakunado, aims to provide free anti-rabies vaccine and low-cost neuter for animal companions until we reach our goal of a #RabiesFreePh and #StrayFreePh.

Join our #KaponAtBakunado program and make a difference in the lives of pets and the community. Register your pet for a low-cost neutering and free rabies vaccination. You can also support our cause by donating to help us vaccinate more cats and dogs against rabies and provide subsidized neutering rates to more people in our community. Together, we can make a positive impact by offering free neutering for LGU Mass Kapon events and indigents. Take action today and be a part of this important initiative to promote responsible pet ownership and community health.
